As a continuity to the previous lectures, the Renaissance period represents the last lectures of this semester.  These lectures shed light on the most important events that marked the beginning of the English Renaissance such as the works of writers, as well as the social transformation, the reaction of the religious institutions and the contribution of the royal families. The second part of this semester is devoted only to the coming of the Stuarts royal family.
